The Credible Hulk’s Top 5 Americas – ‘Merica

What better way to celebrate the birth of the greatest country since ever then by a list of the best versions of this hollowed land across different works of fiction? I give to you, on this, the greatest of holidays, my top 5 Americas. ‘Merica!

5. The Stand

A screw-up released the super-flu on an unsuspecting country, leaving 1% of the population alive. Those left gather for the ultimate battle of good vs evil and blah blah blah. Could you imagine it? This fine country cleaned of the filth that’s sullied it, leaving a veritable playground to explore?

4. World War Z

With humanity on the brink, who was it that made the final push to send those zeds back to where they came from? America! That’s who! Marching in a line across the entire continent, killing every last zombie, sending them back to their graves. Again!

3. Fallout

Over 200 years after bomb, nothing’s left but an irradiated wasteland. However, we stayed alive deep within the faults, only to one day rise and reclaim this great country from the mutants. And aliens.

2. Red Dawn

Wolverines! The 1984 version, not the one with Thor. That was terrible.

1. America

Who’d of thought that 1984 would come 30 years later, and no one would care. Or better yet, willingly sacrifice their privacy and security. Also, the debt ceiling. ‘Merica.

Now, celebrate the birth of this country by blowing a small part of it up.

What’s your favorite version of America? Comment below!

Go Joe!

  1. What, no Independence Day? Eighteen years ago today, Will Smith and Jeff Goldblum saved the WORLD from an alien invasion. ‘Merica.
